Comic Coloring: Entry 1

Yup, going to keep a blog of this job I'm doing. Going to be a long book as far as I am aware of, I'm putting down the colors for it and cleaning up any line work that I might have to do in the future. I'm taking the same things I learned at my internship and putting it into this deal for now. Who knows, I might experiment some and look up things on youtube :D yay for tutorials!

New style result

After inking, I believe I like this style so I'm going to start practicing it more over the next few months.

Testing a new style

It's Gomon and Draco that have to suffer. I kinda got the idea for this a long time ago but never went through with it till last night...when I couldn't sleep at all. Yep, sleeplessness results. It seems a bit squished together because the only scanner I could find was a small one. The next result of this will be better.

Schedule for fall 2010 (MY LAST QUARTER)

Yes, I said it, my LAST quarter in college. Which means all my free time is going into passing these last three classes I am taking so I can finish.

• Monday 1-5pm Internship
• Tuesday 8-12PM Print Portfolio
• Wednesday 8-12pm Post Modern & Contemporary Art

So this is what I am doing, I'll be updating this blog with the processes I'm doing in both my Internship and Print Portfolio classes. I do believe I'll create pages for each of these to make it easier to handle and organize all of the classes. I'll find out what I'm doing in Post Modern later and update on that when I know.

Stand By WIP 1

This is something I'm working on as a side project. Just testing perspective and such. Alacard and Coraw are standing by as Gomon fights by herself. It'll make more sense when I finish it :)

Temple Guardian WIP 10

Main shadows added as well as some editing done to the background. Drawing this in the dark is a no no btw....made me feel creepy! This seems to never end :D but at least when I look back on this drawing, I can see all the process I had for it!

UPDATE

So I saved an older version of this file over this. So I lost the shadows I did :( but I'm not discouraged! It was simple shadows that I will be able to fix in no time! HAZAH!

I have realized this is a very peaceful drawing to work on. I suppose it's all the forest, yet I cannot forget why I'm working on it ;) and the two different colored trees are there for a reason, you'll see!

Some banners I made for The Michael Jackson Internet Fan Club, Brian should be happy. Might had some colors to the two bottom ones. Letting a friend use a re-visioned version of the second banner :3
